These photos were taken near
the starting point of the Jennings Mardi Gras Parade, which got under
way on schedule at 4:30 Saturday. There were floats from organizations, businesses, and Mardi Gras Krewes, along with beauty queens, political leaders, bands, and lots of throws. The Grand Marais Mardi Gras Courir road on horseback toward the end of the parade. There was also live music in Founders' Park as part of the celebration.
